The Story

  • Your last chance to get this stunning yarn!

We absolutely fell in love with this yarn when we handled finished garments created from it. We knew we had to have it, and that you're going to LOVE it.

Weirdly for us, we definitely preferred these more grounded and soulful colours from the Meadow palette when we experienced them in person, so we've restricted our range to the shades we loved best.

Combining four of the most luxurious fibres—baby llama, fine merino wool, silk and linen—this 2 ply yarn is slightly heavier than a typical lace weight yarn with very generous yardage.

It is a versatile yarn that works well on a variety of needle sizes and a wide array of projects. The crisp hand and stitch definition of linen with the sheen of silk is perfectly complimented by the softness of baby llama and fine merino.

PS - Sale items are not returnable.

  • The Fibre Co's story began in 2003 in an old warehouse on the working waterfront of Portland, Maine, USA with a small spinning mill, lots of raw natural fibre and owner/founder Daphne Marinopoulos' vision of creating yarns that she couldn't find on the retail shelves.

From these humble beginnings to today's global brand now based in the United Kingdom, The Fibre Co works with a variety of producers and artisans to continue creating yarns that delight and inspire the enthusiast maker.
