The Story

  • Designed by Astrid Troland, Isla is a super cute little shawl inspired by a colourwork stitch pattern featured in the first Biches & BĂ»ches Collection. A fun and quick project. The neat compact size of the shawl makes it a versatile accessory for any occasion.

    Featuring Le Petit Lambswool by Biches & Bûches, we've put together our favourite colour combos for you from our large range. With three colours in each kit, there's easily enough yarn to knit two shawls with a different Main Colour in each.

    Your Isla Shawl Kit contains:

    • Le Petit Lambswool: 3x 50g, one of each colour
    • Complimentary PDF Pattern 

    You will also need:
    • 3.50mm (US 4) straight or circular needle (knit flat back and forth)
    • Tapestry needle for weaving in ends

    Finished Measurements:

    Wingspan: 72 cm / 28” 
    Depth: 28 cm / 11"

    100% Pure Lambswool

    Yarn Specs:
    248m (270 yds) per 50g ball/skein

    Kit Details:
    Colour 1 x 50g
    Colour 2 x 50g
    Colour 3 x 50g

    Gauge:
    24 sts and 40 rows = 10cm / 4” in Slip Stitch pattern after blocking. 
    24 sts and 44 rows = 10cm / 4” in Garter Stitch after blocking.
    (Always use a needle size that achieves the correct gauge)
