The Story

  • By Trine Bertelsen

Anita’s sweater is a soft and warm sweater with a high neck rib, and a beautiful and feminine smock pattern on the yoke. The sleeves are worked straight down and finished with decreases and a cuff, which gives the big sleeves a fine and elegant look.

The sweater is worked top-down, which makes it possible to adjust the length on the sleeves and the body.

We've created kits in a bunch of colours, but there are many more colours in the Snefnug and Snefnug Natur range to pick from. The pattern is available here on Ravelry if you make your own kit.

    Your Kit Includes:
    Snefnug or Snefnug Natur: 7 (8) 8 (9) 9 (10) 11 balls
    • PDF Pattern delivered by email via Ravelry (instructions in English)

    You will also need:
5.5 mm circular needle (40 cm) and 6 mm circular needle (40, 60, 80 and 100 cm). The sleeves can be worked with a 6 mm circular needle (40 cm) or on a 6 mm circular needle (80 cm) if you use magic loop.

    Sizes:
    XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL

    Measurements:

    Finished chest circumference of the model: Approx. 90 (97) 104 (114) 123 (133) 144 cm with a gauge on 14 sts.

Finished length of the model: Approx. 55 (56) 57 (58) 59 (60) 61 cm, measured from where the neck rib ends.

Ease: The sweater has a positive ease on 10 cm. The 10 cm are added to your own chest circumference, and then you choose the size from the finished chest circumference of the finished model. If you want a slightly oversize sweater, then choose a size bigger
